  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • ¼ tsp salt (for frosting)
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together room temperature unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and nutmeg.
