  • 12 cups ice cubes

  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (or 1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice)
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup warm water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp maple extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together brown sugar, pumpkin puree, cinnamon sticks (or pumpkin pie spice), and warm water to create your syrup. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  2. Stir in vanilla and maple extracts, then strain if desired. Store syrup in an airtight container in the fridge.
