  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 pounds vanilla almond bark
  • 34 pectin-based gummy candies
  • Candy eyes
  • Orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as directed on the cake mix package. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and water. Beat until smooth.
  2. Bake according to package instructions. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Crumble the cooled cake into the cream cheese and mix until combined.
  4. Shape into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for two hours.
  5. Melt almond bark until smooth. Dip chilled cake balls into the melted almond bark and set on parchment paper.
  6. While still wet, decorate with gummy candies and candy eyes; pipe orange food coloring for added flair.
  7. Chill again for 15 minutes to set.
