  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  3. In a large bowl, mix eggs, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture while whisking until well combined.
  5. Pipe batter into greased donut pan, filling each well halfway.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until they spring back when touched.
  7. Cool donuts slightly on a wire rack.
  8. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract for the glaze.
  9. Dunk cooled donuts in glaze before placing them back on the rack to set.
