  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté for one minute until fragrant.
  4. Return chicken to skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Pour over chicken and green beans; stir until coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
